The building is a classic crofters cottage with white-washed stone walls and slate roof. It sleeps up to four people in the two twin bedrooms.
Downstairs is a hall with coat racks and a built in washing machine; new bathroom with shower, w.c and heated towel rails; living room and kitchen. Stairs go up to the landing from which run the two twin-bedded dormer bedrooms.
The heart of the cottage is a cosy living room with a log burning stove with wood available in the timber shed outside as well as a selection of books and maps. There are also plenty more books and jigsaw puzzles on the landing.
The kitchen is well equipped with an oil-fired Aga-Rayburn, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, large refectory style oak table and dresser and larder.
Both bedrooms include two very comfy pine beds, down pillows and duvets (synthetic available if required) , chest of drawers, hanging space and electric heaters.

Wifi is available, although the connection speed is basic and the service may suffer from occasional interruption due to the location. Simple web browsing is fine, but streaming television or other media isn't generally possible. To be honest we rather like it this way!
